Jeethu Joseph on why there will not be 'Drishyam 4' after Mohanlal's 'Drishyam 3': 'I am trying to end this because...'

Director Jeethu Joseph has now made things very clear about the future of the Drishyam world.Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 is coming this year and many people were talking everywhere that maybe 'Drishyam 4' will also be made later. He added, "I am trying to end this because even people are asking me to stop it. This is why I am thinking in such a way.”'Drishyam 3' again follows Georgekutty’s life and the problems around him. Georgekutty is a middle-class man who only wants a peaceful life with his family. But everything becomes difficult after IG Geetha Prabhakar’s son, Varun Prabhakar, goes missing many years ago. The first film showed how Georgekutty tried everything to protect his family when everyone suspected them. The second film, 'Drishyam 2', showed how the fear and pressure continued even after many years. It went deep into his mind and showed how he lived with that big secret. Now Drishyam 3 will finally take this story to its end and show what happens to Georgekutty and his family after all these years.Earlier, Jeethu Joseph shared how the writing process was not easy at all. He gave a very simple story about how the ideas came to him. In a talk with Baradwaj Rangan, he said he once wrote a full version of the story while he was on a flight. He said, “I actually drafted one version on a flight from Amsterdam to Dubai and even managed to finish the scene order before landing. But my daughters weren’t happy with it, so I kept rewriting until the story finally clicked.” Jeethu wanted his family to also feel happy with the story before moving forward.Jeethu Joseph also said something important for all fans who are waiting to watch Drishyam 3. He said people should not expect the same type of tricky mind games that were in Drishyam 2. He said clearly, “If people are expecting a heavy intelligent game like part two, they might be disappointed.” He wants everyone to understand that Drishyam 3 will be different. It will not repeat the same tricks. It will follow its own path and focus more on closing the story in a simple and emotional way.With all these words from the director, it feels clear that Drishyam 3 will be a closing chapter.
