Mollywood actor Jayasurya had his recent success with the investigation thriller ‘John Luther’ and after a successful theatrical run, the Jayasurya starrer will be hitting a popular OTT platform on August 5.
‘John Luther’ director Abhijith Joseph took to his official Instagram handle to announce that his debut directorial venture will be released via OTT. Sharing a poster from the investigation thriller, the director penned, “John Luther streaming from Aug 5.”

Helmed by Abhijith Joseph, Jayasurya played the titular character in the film who is a circle inspector who suffers ruptured eardrums and loses his hearing during an investigation regarding the missing case of a teacher named Prakashan. The film is stacked with several elements that makes a viewer glued to their seats.

‘John Luther’ was written and directed by the debutant Abhijith Joseph and the director got much adulation from the audience for executing a thriller with the perfect placing of emotions and intriguing elements. Jayasurya also got much appreciation for his role as the character 'John Luther' in Abhijith Joseph's directorial debut.
Roby Varghese Raj cranked the lens for the film and the editing section was handled by Praveen Prabhakar. Shaan Rahman composed the music for ‘John Luther’ and the film hit the big screens on May 27.
Apart from Jayasurya, ‘John Luther’ also has the actors Athmeeya Rajan, Siddique, Drishya Raghunath, Sreelakshmi, Pramod Velliyanad, and Deepak Parambol in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Jayasurya has several highly ambitious projects in the pipeline that includes the films ‘Apposthalan’, ‘Ramasethu’, ‘2403 ft.’, ‘Enthada Saji’, and ‘Kathanar- The Wild Sorcerer’.
