After two young medicos – Naveen and Janaki – uploaded a short video clip of them dancing to the seventies’ hit song Ra Ra Rasputin by BoneyM – and a section of netizens raising ‘love jihad’ allegations against them- many youngsters have been coming forward to support them by performing the dance.
The latest to join the cult is actor Jayasurya’s little daughter Veda.
In the video shared by
Jayasurya on his social media page, Veda can be seen performing wearing an attire similar to the scrubs worn by medicos. While the song is generally performed in pairs, the little dancer gives a solo show and ends it with an easy full split. Many of Jayasurya’s fans have been liking, commenting and applauding her performance, encouraging her to do more. Even before, Jayasurya has shared videos featuring Veda’s dance performance, for instance, the one in which she can be seen dancing to the hit Bollywood song ‘Lambourghini’ from the film ‘Jai Mummy Di.’
Many different versions of the dance have already become hits online, for instance, the one in which three youngsters wearing Hindu, Muslim and Christian attires can be seen dancing together to the song. Yet another one is the video in which a seemingly drunkard man (who was later revealed to be an actor-dancer) shaking a leg to the track. More of medicos, lawyers and others have been coming forward with their own versions of the dance as well, in the past few weeks.
