Jayasurya had been shooting the fight sequences of Thrissur Pooram, his first mass action movie, for the past 10 days. “I was really exhausted and in the morning when I went to the location, I realised that I cannot do the action scenes as I couldn’t raise my hands,” the actor recollects, adding that the team decided to shoot an emotional scene and during the take, he collapsed.
“Somehow, I couldn’t take the sudden drift. Maybe because I was tired. I had a blackout, fell right on my back and sustained a head injury,” he says. At the hospital, he adds that, he had a thorough check up and was kept under observation for two hours. “The shoot will continue after a break, as it is Onam as well,” he says.
