As per the filmmakers, shooting post Monsoon which usually hits Kerala from June to August used to be fun as the climate would be a balanced one- neither scorching heat or chilling cold. However, the unexpected heavy rain (South-West Monsoon) that has been hitting the State for the past one week has really affected some of the films' shoot. This include Midhun Manuel Thomas' movie

which started rolling at Thodupuzha on September 13.

The director says, "We were finding it tough to have a continuous shoot due to the intermittent heavy rains. So we decided to take a shot break for four days. Once, the sun shows its sunny side, we will resume the shoot." Producer Vijay Babu, who is also acting in the film adds that the shoot will resume from September 22. "The set was flooded and we had no choice than to wait till the rain subsides," says Vijay Babu.

The movie, squeal of Midhun Manuel Thomas' directorial debut

Aadu

has Jayasurya reprising the cult character, Shaji Pappan. The film will feature an entirely another episode in Shaji Pappan's life and is expected to be a Christmas release.

Apparently, the shoot of Vineeth Sreenivasan's next Aana Alaralodalaral too has taken a break due to the rain.
