While the audience anticipates a gripping thriller from 'Abraham Ozler,' there's heightened excitement surrounding Mammootty's cameo appearance in the movie. The storyline centres around the personal and professional facets of seasoned cop Abraham Ozler, ACP Trichur, thrust into a mysterious serial killing investigation.
In an interview with The Indian Express, director Midhun Manuel Thomas revealed the significance of the name 'Ozler,' derived from the renowned Canadian physician William Osler, often hailed as the 'Father of Modern Medicine.' Thomas highlighted the initial concept where Abraham Ozler's father, a doctor himself, named his son after his favourite physician, envisioning a future career in medicine for him.
The film, featuring Anaswara Rajan, Arjun Ashokan, Anoop Menon, Siddique, Jagadish, and Dileesh Pothan, among others, is set for its theatrical release on January 11.
