Onam festivities in
Kerala took a back seat due to the devastating floods that took the lives of many and displaced several others. Many tried hard to keep the festive spirit alive by spreading joy and hope in relief camps.
Months after life was minimally restored to normal in a few parts of the state, actor
Jayaram gifted his dearest friend, Ramesh Pisharody a late Onam present.
The gift was a 'Kasavu Mundu' which is often given during the festival.
Ramesh Pisharody shared a photo of the same on his
Facebook page.
Both have been friends for a long time and Ramesh recently made his directorial debut, casting Jayaram as the lead in 'Panchavarnathatha'.
