Jayaram: I have had about 150 on-screen weddings

Actor Jayaram recently walked down the memory lane and reminisced that he has had about 150 on-screen weddings. In a recent chat with the media, the actor revealed that almost all of his movies had a wedding and he had a scene tying the knot and so he might have had more about 150 on-screen weddings.
Making his debut with legendary filmmaker P Padmarajan's 'Aparan,' actor Jayaram's career graph is very unique.He is one of the actors who ruled the 90s of Malayalam cinema. It was almost difficult for many filmmakers to think about a good film without Jayaram. His entry into showbiz was also unique as he portrayed a double role in his debut and entered in the showbiz, which was totally conquered by actor Mohanlal and Mammootty. With many super hits movies in Malayalam and Tamil to his credit, the actor has offered some of the best movies the M-Town audience has ever had.
Jayaram tied the knot with actor Parvathy and the couple has two children. Jayaram's son Kalidas Jayaram is also into showbiz. Kalidas received a national award for Best Child Artist for his second movie. He has returned the industry with 2018 movie 'Poomaram' and is active in the industry. Meanwhile, actor Jayaram's recently released film 'Maarconi Mathayi' is still in theatres and the actor has an upcoming release, 'Pattabhiraman.'
