Jayan became a memory 37 years ago

Late actor Jayan became an epitome of courage and steadfast attitude, through the daredevil acts he attempted in film with utmost dedication. It was 37 years ago, the braveheart lost his life, while trying his hand at a stunt scene on a moving helicopter, and left the entire Malayalam film industry in utmost shock.

Years later, the actor still continues to be a role model for aspiring actors and still sets an example, when it comes to submitting oneself to the career. He has acted in 124 films in total starting from the year 1972.

Chakara, Manushyamrigam, Angadi and Moorken were some of the films, which became quite well-known.
