After its successful run in theatres, Navya Nair and Saiju Kurup starrer ‘Janaki Jaane’ is heading for its digital premiere. The makers have locked in the OTT release date. The film will be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from July 11. The film will be available in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
Navya Nair plays the central role of Janaki, who has a fear of the dark and being alone in open or confined spaces. Saiju Kurup plays a character named Unni Mukundan, who is her partner. ‘Janaki Jaane’ is directed by Aniesh Upasana.

‘Janaki Jaane’ also has actors Johny Antony, Kottayam Nazeer, Sharafudeen, George Kora, Anarkali Marikar, Pramod Veliyanadu, Sminu Sijo, Jordi Poonjar, James Eliya, Vidhya Vijayakumar, Anjali Satyanath, Anwar Shereef, Sylaja Sreedharan Nair, and Sathi Premji, among others, in pivotal roles.
Aniesh Upaasana has co-scripted ‘Janaki Jaane’ along with Anil Narayanan and Rohan Raj.
Syamaprakash MS is the cinematographer, and Noufal Abdullah is the editor. Kailas Menon and Sibi Mattew Alex jointly composed the music for the film.
A family drama, ‘Janaki Jaane, was released theatrically on May 12, 2023.
