Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘
Jana Gana Mana’ has made its grand entry to the Rs 50 crore club. The film was released on April 28
.
The news was announced officially by the actor Prithviraj Sukumaran himself as he took to his official Instagram handle to share a brand new poster for the film with a note that read, “Thank you for the 500 million love! Thank you for making ‘Jana Gana Mana’ such an iconic success!”

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s post was flooded with comments from netizens who were all excited at such a deserving movie making its grand entry to the 50-crore club at the box office.
On the last day, it was reported that the film has reportedly earned Rs 48.6 crores worldwide and the Kerala Box office collections were reportedly estimated up to Rs 27.4 crores. Now that the film has finally made its cakewalk to the Rs 50-crore club, Dijo Jose Antony’s directorial film has become one of the most successful films this year along with the Mammootty- Amal Neerad movie ‘Bheeshma Parvam’.
Helmed by the ‘Queen’ fame Dijo Jose Antony, the script of the film was penned down by the writer

and the makers also announced a second installment during the promotional event. The film also ends with a hint about the sequel with some cross-cutting sequences from the second installment.
Apart from Prithviraj Sukumaran, ‘Jana Gana Mana’ also featured the talented actors
Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mamta Mohandas, Shari, Vincy Aloshious, and Dhruvan in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Dijo Jose Antony will be teaming up next with Tovino Thomas for the upcoming mass entertainer movie ‘Pallichattambi’.
