‘Jana Gana Mana’: 5 Reasons why you shouldn't miss this Prithviraj starrer film

Prithviraj Sukumaran has a list of highly ambitious projects in his bag for the year 2022 and his upcoming Dijo Jose Antony’s directorial venture ‘Jana Gana Mana’ is just a nascent preview of the actor’s golden days ahead. As the film is all set to release on April 28, let's take a look at 5 reasons why you shouldn't miss the film ‘Jana Gana Mana’.

Words from Prithviraj Sukumaran

During an interview with an online media channel, Prithviraj Sukumaran said that both the characters played by him and Suraj Venjaramoodu are something that both of them haven't played before. Prithviraj spilled beans on his character design by saying that his character is also a lawyer in the film and Suraj Venjaramoodu plays a cop that is totally different from his character in the film ‘Driving License’.

‘Queen’ director

Director Dijo Jose Antony has already proved that he is a master at telling a socially relevant topic and covering it with an engaging storyline filled with the right emotions, through his first film ‘Queen’. Now that the director is making his second entry with ‘Jana Gana Mana’ by bringing together the same writer of ‘Queen’, Sharis Mohammed, we can expect nothing short of a brilliant film.

Pan Indian content

Prithviraj Sukumaran opened up during the promotional event of ‘Jana Gana Mana’ that even though the film has mostly Malayalam actors, the content of the film is hundred percent Pan-Indian and could be relatable to the majority of the audience all over India. He further added that in the writing design, the time and place at which the events are happening in the film are not defined as the story is something that can happen at any place at any time and has the quality of being fictional.

Priority for female characters

Prithviraj told in an interview with an online news channel that ‘Jana Gana Mana’ focuses on the female leads in the film and both the characters played by him and Suraj Venjaramoodu just happens to be part of the story narrative that focuses on the story of women in the film. The female leads are played by the actors Mamta Mohandas, Vincy Aloshious, Shari, and Sri Divya.

A glimpse of making style in the trailer

It's understood from the trailer that ‘Jana Gana Mana’ will offer a full-on cinematic meal to the audience. The ending portion of the trailer features an explosion sequence that was shot in real in a single take. If just a 4-minute trailer could impress the viewers with its magnificent making style, then it's a sure thing that the whole film would offer a visual spectacle that the audience hasn't witnessed before.
