‘Jaladhara Pumpset Since 1962’ OTT release: Indrans, Urvashi starrer to finally stream after long delay

Hitting the big screens on August 11, 2024, the Urvashi and Indrans starrer heartwarming drama movie ‘Jaladhara Pumpset Since 1962’ has now started streaming on OTT.

For those who want to watch the movie in their comfort zones, the Urvashi starrer is available on Jio Cinema. The OTT’s official handle shared a post that read, “She has fought for justice for too long. Although the film had less run in the theatres, the Indrans starrer received good reviews from the audiences. The film revolves around Mrinalini and her legal battle as a thief steals her water pump. Covered in comedy, ‘Jaladhara Pumpset Since 1962’ also unveils a social message for the viewers. Directed by Ashish Chinnappa, the film also features the actors Johny Antony, TG Ravi, Nisha Sarang, and many more in pivotal roles.


On the other hand, the recently released films ‘Thalavan’, Nunakkuzhi’, ‘Grrr…’, ‘Adios Amigo’ have started streaming on OTT. Reportedly the comedy-drama movie ‘Vaazha’ is gearing up for its OTT release.


Meanwhile, Urvashi’s previous outing was with the intense drama movie ‘Ullozhukku’ which also featured the actress Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead. Directed by Christo Tomy, the drama movie received praise from both critics and audiences for its intense storytelling style and also magnificent performances. Urvashi also received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the movie. The actress shared the prestigious award with actress Beena R Chandran for her performance in the film ‘Thadavu’.
