Jagathy Sreekumar will not act in movies

‘ Velakariyayi irunthalum neeyen mohavalli- the famous dialogue rendered by Jayakrishnan, the character portrayed veteran actor Jagathy Sreekumar in the movie Meleparambil Aan veedu could still bring a smile on the face of audience.
Now, the rumors are on the air that the actor, who is taking rest after surviving a near fatal accident, is all set to make a come back with the sequel of the movie, directed by Mani C Kappan.
Apparently the director confirms and says “In the sequel also, Jagathy will be there to grace the role of Jayakrishnan. But some obvious changes will be there in his character according to his present health condition. He also adds that the sequel has the same thread of the previous one, but with a different treatment,” he says.
However, Parvathy Shone, daughter of Jagathy Sreekumar quashes the rumors and said that her father has not been able to act in immediate future. “The rumors of his comeback are baseless. Though his health is stable, he cannot speak properly. Infact, it will take another two years for him to recover fully. ,” says his daughter.
