Newlywed Durga Krishna has shared a romantic throwback picture with

husband Arjun Ravindran

. The actress shared a picture she took right after when Arjun proposed to her. The incident apparently took place a few years back. Durga was returning from her hometown Kozhikode and Arjun joined her from

Guruvayoor

and they were travelling to Ernakulam by train. It was during that journey, Arjun proposed Durga.

Durga shared the precious throwback on her social media handle and penned, “The photo right after the kiss in the train and the proposal. #TheTrainSelfie - See how blushed I was. The first selfie together. @arjunravindranofficial.”

Durga said yes to Arjun’s proposal, but also shared that she wants to focus on her career, so the couple decided to wait a while for marriage.

After about 5 years of dating, the couple entered wedlock on April 5. They tied the knot in a close-knit ceremony held at Guruvayoor temple. Durga Krishna was decked up in a red traditional silk saree and accessorized with antique gold temple jewellery. And her groom Arjun Ravindran was donning a white shirt and dhoti.

On the work front, Durga will be next seen in ‘Ram’, a film starring Mohanlal, and helmed by Jeethu Joseph.
