It’s a wrap for Tovino Thomas and Kalyani Priyadarshan’s ‘Thallumaala’

Makers of Tovino Thomas and Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer ‘Thallumaala’ has called it a wrap. The team was filming for the final schedule in Dubai, and they have now wrapped up the 102 days shoot. ‘Thallumaala’ is helmed by Khalid Rahman, who has previously delivered films like ‘Unda’ and ‘Love’.
The producer of the film confirmed the same through his social media handle.‘Thallumaala’s producer shared that he first heard about the story of ‘Thallumaala’ in 2016 and decided to take up the project in 2020, and they have spent about one and a half years into preproduction.After 102 days of shooting in various locations, the movie has been wrapped up.

Tovino had earlier told us that the movie’s story spans from a guy’s college years to his mid-30s. The makers had recently launched a first look poster, which featured Tovino Thomas in a vibrant funky avatar.
Featuring Tovino Thomas and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles, the upcoming film will also see Shine Tom Chacko in a pivotal role. Actors Lukman, Binu Pappu, Johny Antony, Tanvi Ram, and Chemban Vinod will be seen in some important roles.

Helmed by Khalid Rahman, ‘Thallumaala’ is scripted by Muhsin Parari and Ashraf Hamza, who have previously co-scripted Aashiq Abu’s medical thriller ‘Virus’. Cinematographer Jimshi Khalid who has earlier cranked the lens for films ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’, ‘Kappela’ and ‘Love’ too has roped into the technical crew. And the music will be composed by Vishnu Vijay, who is best known for films ‘Guppy’, and ‘Ambili’.
Meanwhile, since the shoot of ‘Thallumaala’ has been wrapped, the film is going into post-production. The makers have confirmed that the film will be a theatrical release, and since Tovino Thomas and Kalyani Priyadarshan are collaborating for the first time, the cinephiles too are excited about the project.
