“6 years since Aanandam. 4 years since I started this script. 1 year since we began pre-production and 37 days since we started shoot — We've finally wrapped പൂക്കാലം. My first film dealt primarily with youngsters so for this one I wanted to explore a story about the very oldest among us. It's been a labor of love, there's so much I want to share about the film but not yet. In the coming days, you'll learn about Pookkaalam, its world and the people who inhabit it, one bit at a time. Till then, Love,

Ganesh,” the note read.
