It’s a wrap for ‘Kurukkan’

The shoot of Vineeth Sreenivasan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sreenivasan starrer ‘Kurukkan’ was successfully wrapped up the shoot on Tuesday (Dec 20). The team reportedly shot for 45 days and completed the entire shoot the last day.

‘Kurukkan’ is directed by debutant Jayalal Divakaran, and the film has actors Vineeth Sreenivasan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sreenivasan in the lead roles. Veteran actor-script writer-filmmaker, who was unwell, has returned to showbiz with ‘Kurukkan’, and hence there is a lot of excitement around the film. Another USP of the film is Sreenivasan reuniting with his son Vineeth on-screen. The duo has previously worked in ‘Makante Achan’ and ‘Aravindante Athidikal’, and both films did well, thanks to their on-screen chemistry.

Meanwhile, actors Sudheer Karamana, Srikanth Murali, Joji John, Aswath Lal, Malavika Menon, Gowri Nanda, Sruthy Jayan, Azees Netumangad, Anjali Sathyanath, Ansiba Hassan, Balaji Sharma, Krishnan Balakrishnan, and Nandan Unni too are part of the cast.

On the technical front, the cinematography for ‘Kurukkan’ is done by Jibu Jacob, and Ranjan Abraham is the editor. Manoj Ram Singh is crafting the screenplay and dialogues. Unni Elayaraja is composing the music and, Manu Manjith is crafting the lyrics. Joseph Nellikal is the production designer for the film.
