It’s a schedule wrap for Mohanlal-Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Malaikottai Valiban’

Mohanlal has reportedly wrapped up the Rajasthan schedule of his upcoming film ‘Malaikottai Valiban’ directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. The team kickstarted the shoot on January 18, and has been continuously filming in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer. Mohanlal had taken a couple of days off by the last week of March, to attend the funeral of his dear co-star veteran Innocent. After paying his last respects to Innocent, Mohanlal returned to Rajasthan on March 29, and has been filming.

The team has completed the Rajasthan schedule as per the reports and will be moving to a studio in Chennai for the next schedule by May.

Mohanlal will be soon a few days off to spend some time vacaying with his family on a cruise.

‘Malaikottai Valiban’ is a passion project for both Lijo Jose Pellissery and Mohanlal. Considering the films Lijo Jose Pellissery has delivered in the past, there are humungous expectations for ‘Malaikottai Valiban.

Sonalee Kulkarni, who has roped in to play a pivotal role in the film, earlier told us, “I have been a fan of Lijo’s films and, of course, admire Mohanlal sir, so I couldn’t have asked for more. Today the boundaries between different industries are blurring and we are all identifying as the Indian film industry.It was amazing to see Mohanlal sir doing high-octane action sequences by himself. The upcoming film also marks her debut in Malayalam.
