Mollywood superstar Mohanlal has been re-elected as the president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Actors (AMMA) for the third time. His re-election comes amidst significant changes in the association's leadership, with longstanding General Secretary Idavela Babu reportedly stepping down from his role as general secretary from the association.

The competition for other key roles within AMMA is heating up. Actors Jagadish, Jayan Cherthala, and Manju Pillai are all vying for the position of Vice President.

Earlier reports suggested that Mohanlal was also thinking about stepping down from his position as president. However, he has decided to continue for a third term.

On the professional front, Mohanlal has an exciting slate of projects lined up. He is set to star in Tharun Moorthy’s highly anticipated film 'L360,' Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘L2: Empuraan,’ and the fantasy film 'Barroz.'
