Actress Isha Talwar, who was last seen in Bangalore Days, has signed Siju Bawa’s debut directorial venture. The untitled project has actor Fahadh Faasil as the male lead while
Isha and Malavika Mohan are the female leads. Isha has earlier teamed up with Fahadh in
God’s Own Country as his wife, but in this outing, she will be seen in a different role. Confirming her presence in the film, Isha says, “I am not able to talk much about my character now, but the movie won’t be a family drama.
When Fahadh and I signed
God’s Own Country, we did not know how it would turn out to be. Luckily, both our pairing and the movie did well at the BO. I’m hoping that this movie too will strike a chord with the audience.”
Actors Sidharth Bharathan, Siddharth Siva, KPAC Lalitha and Mukesh play prominent roles in the romantic thriller. Siju, who has also penned the script of the film, says, “Isha plays a modern character, who is a team member of a production house. Fahadh, Isha, Sidharth Bharathan and Siddharth Siva run a successful ad agency and they head to a village to shoot an ad. There they meet Malavika, who plays a village belle. What happens next forms the plot.” Kochi, Marayoor, Kanthalloor, Thattekkad and Silent Valley are the shooting locations. The movie is expected to start rolling on May 16.
