Is Samuthirakani moving to Mollywood?

Kollywood actor-filmmaker Samuthirakani is making further inroads into the Malayalam film industry. Next year, he will not only be making his directorial debut here, but will also pen a Malayalam film for director Madhupal.
The Thalappavudirector, who is currently working on the post-production of Ozhimuri, which has been scripted by another Kollywood scribe B Jeyamohan, says, ���Samuthirakani will be doing a film that is totally different from my earlier ventures.���
Sources on the sets of Ozhimuri also say that, Samuthirakani had visited Madhupal last month for discussions while the team was shooting in Nagercoil.Confirming this, Madhupal says, ���The flick centres around three youngsters and it will be a new-generation film appealing to the masses. Discussions are still at the nascent stage, but we might be casting newcomers in lead roles.���
This film could mark a major behind-the-screens entry for Samuthirakani, who also has plans of directing a film with Mohanlal, with whom he had shared screen space in Shikkar.
