Inside video: Navya Nair’s birthday celebration

Mollywood beauty Navya Nair turned 35 today. The diva who began her career with the 2001 movie ‘Ishtam’ is now preparing for her second inning in Mollywood and this year the birthday celebrations were much more special. The actress and her family including her son Sai opted for a scenic resort near Athirapillywater falls for the birthday celebrations. Navya Nair’s highschool besties and parents surprised the star at midnight and she seems to be overwhelmed by the love she received.

Navya Nair who began her career with Dileep starrer ‘Ishtam’ in 2001 rose to fame the next year when she essayed the leading lady in ‘Nandanam’. She played Balamani in the movie and also bagged the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress. Some of her popular movies include 'Kalyanaraman', 'Chathurangam', 'Ammakkilikkoodu', 'Pattanathil Sundaram', 'Pandipada', and 'Calendar' among others.
Navya chose to take a break from movies after her wedding in 2010. The talented beauty will be soon making her second innings. Navya Nair has signed for VK Prakash’s directorial ‘Oruthee’. She will be essaying the lead character of the boat ticket checker in the movie. The team was filming for the movie prior to lockdown.
