‘Ini Utharam’ trailer: Aparna Balamurali starrer promises a mystery thriller

The tagline of Aparna Balamurali starrer ‘Ini Utharam’ reads, ‘Every answer has a question’. The National award-winning actress’ plays Janaki in the upcoming film, and the character too walks into the police station with an answer. “Sir, I want to meet the CI,” says a tense Janaki. “I killed someone, sir,” she adds, stimulating an entire chain reaction.

The police station situated amidst a huge forest in Pooppara becomes crowded, with battalions of cops searching for the murder scene, and the evidence. Soon, the people and politicians, get involved. The trailer hints that Janaki has murdered her boyfriend, played by Sidharth Menon. The trailer puts forward the idea that “Truth is stranger than fiction.”

The trailer promises an intense mystery thriller, and the protagonist Janaki surely has a motto.

Directed by Sudheesh Ramachandran, ‘Ini Utharam’ has Aparna Balamurali in the lead role. Actors Kalabhavan Shajohn, Harish Uthaman, Sidharth Menon, Chandunadh, Jaffar Idukki, Siddique, Shaju Sreedar, Manoj Payyannur, Harisree Yousaf, Jayan Cherthala, Mala Parvathi, and Rani Sarran will be seen in some pivotal roles in the film. The film is scripted by Ranjith Unni. Kerala State Film Award-winning musician Hesham Abdul Wahab is handling the music department, while the lyrics are penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. Ravichandran is in charge of the visuals and Jithin DK is editing the film. Arun Mohanan is the art director and Dhanya Balakrishnan is the costume designer. The makeup is done by Jithesh Poyya.
