Actress and dancer Ineya will play a modern girl in the Tamil-Kannada bilingual directed by Jagadish Kumar. A suspense thriller, the film is titled Karayoram in Tamil and Alone in Kannada. Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty will make a special appearance in the film, which is scripted by the director himself. About her role, Ineya says, “I play an affluent, stylish woman, who works in a corporate firm.
The movie has two lead actors — Ganesh and Vasishta; one of them is a character with shades of grey, which is revealed towards the end. We have been shooting for a week in Mangalore,” says Ineya.
In the film’s climax sequence, Suniel Shetty will share screen space with the Malayali actress. The movie also has National Award winning actor-director Thambi Ramaiah, Kollywood filmmaker Manobala, and Chinni Prakash in prominent roles. Kannada composer Sujeet Shetty, who sang the popular number Love Ki Ghanti in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Besharam, will score the music for the film. Ineya’s latest release in Malayalam is Vellivelichathil, in which she shared screen space with TV personality John Brittas. The actress also had a cameo in the Tamil film Oru Oorla Rendu Raja by R Kannan.
Ineya’s next in Malayalam is Anil K Nair’s Rosappookkalam in which she plays a psychiatrist’s wife.
