Indrajith Sukumaran’s ‘Marivillin Gopurangal’ gets a U certificate

Indrajith Sukumaran, Shruthi Ramachandran, Win C, and Sarjano Khalid starrer ‘Marivillin Gopurangal’ is gearing up for release, and the makers have now received a U certificate from the censor board.

‘Marivillin Gopurangal’ is slated to release on May 10. The film was postponed multiple times. Earlier, they had planned to release Vishu in April; however, the arrival of the big-ticket releases has made the team push the release date further. “It’s a beautiful time for Malayalam cinema. Since the films that got released in February are still successfully filling the theaters, since the new releases have already acquired a good number of theaters, and since we strongly believe that Marivillin Gopurangal is a celebration and it needs a good number of theaters to reach its audience, we have decided to wait for a few more days. Sometimes a wait is sweet too, considering the success of this industry that provides bread and butter to a large number of people. Malayalam cinema is at its peak. Congratulations to all the winners and warm wishes to all the new releases,” he said earlier while postponing the release.

‘Marivillin Gopurangal’ is expected to be a light-hearted entertainer one can watch with their family and friends.
