The movie is touted to be a romcom, with the shoot expected to kick off from November 20. Halal Love Story is scripted by Zakariya and Muhsin Parari.

The film also boasts of a stellar team behind the camera with Saiju Sreedharan as editor, Ajay Menon as the cinematographer and Bijibal and Shahbaz Aman handling the music department. Aashiq Abu is also producing the film with the film’s director Zakariya as one of the co-producer of the venture.
