Indrajith and Anu Sithara team up for a thriller

Indrajith

and Anu Sithara have started shooting for a family thriller story, titled Anuradha Crime No. 59/2019.

The film, directed and co-scripted by newbie Shaan Thulasidharan along with Jose Thomas Polakkal. The film also has Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Surabhi Lakshmi, Top Singer TV show fame Baby Ananya, Harisree Ashokan, Jude Anthony Joseph and Hareesh Kanaran.

Shaan says, “Indrajith plays a character named Peethambaran, a 42-year-old investigation officer in the Crime Branch. Anuradha’s character is played by Anu Sithara. Actress Surabhi Santhosh, who was part of films like Kuttanadan Marpappa and Kinavalli plays Indrajith’s wife and Baby Ananya is cast as his daughter.”

Speaking about the film's story, he elucidates, “It is about how Peethambaran, who is on leave for the construction of his house, has to take up a case out of the blue. It also shows the life of a woman who doesn’t have a secure foundation from her parents. The story shows the contrast between the ideal family life led by Peethambaran and the person in the case, and progresses as an investigation.” Co-scribe Jose Thomas is someone takes counselling sessions for even senior policemen of DySP rank, points out Shaan. The director adds that the film delves deep into the importance of a father’s support in a girl’s life, even after she grows up.

Piravam, Njeezhoor and Ernakulam are the main locations of the movie, which is expected to be completed in 30 days. David Kachappally is the cinematographer of the film, which has music by Tony Joseph and lyrics by Manu Manjith, Jyothikumar Punnapra and B K Harinarayanan.
