Independence Day 2020: Mohanlal, Mammootty and other M-Town stars extend their wishes on social media

Today India is celebrating its 74th Independence Day. August 15 marks the historic day when India secured Independence from the British rule.
Mollywood celebrities Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Prithviraj Sukumaran among others have taken to their social media handle to wish their fans Independence Day.
Malayalam cinema’s biggest star Mohanlal took to his twitter handle and shared a cover song of ‘Vande Mataram’ and wished his fans.“Happy Independence Day. Jai Hind!” he tweeted.

Megastar Mammootty took to his Facebook handle to wish the fans.

Mollywood superstar Suresh Gopi penned an inspiring note for his fans. “Let’s celebrate the bravery of our freedom fighters and their gift of freedom to the nation. Saluting our motherland on its 74th #IndependenceDay #IndependenceDay2020 #SureshGopi #GodBlessedBeing,” the actor penned on Instagram

Actor and filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran have also sent wishes for his fans. “Happy Independence Day!” he tweeted.

Popular Malayalam actress Nadiya Moidu sported a white Nehru cap and held the tricolour flag. “May your spirits rise with the flag today! Happy Independence Day🇮🇳#IndependenceDay #IndianIndependence,” she penned.
