Chenda is not just a hobby for actor Jayaram. The actor, whose love for elephants and temple festivals are renown, considers chenda his passion. At a time when he crosses his 25th year as an actor, grabbing a role of chenda artiste Unni in Swapaanam is a matter of luck, the actor recently told a prominent regional daily. The actor adds that getting chosen for the role by a director like Shaji N Karun in itself is quite rewarding.He practised specially for more than two months to prepare for the role, Jayaram says.
