‘Ila Veezha Poonchira’: Soubin Shahir to headline ‘Nayattu’ writer Shahi Kabir’s maiden directorial

After penning down scripts for the superhit films ‘Joseph’, and ‘Nayattu’, the writer Shahi Kabir is turning into a director for the upcoming movie titled ‘Ila Veezha Poonchira’. Actors Soubin Shahir and Sudhi Koppa will be playing significant lead roles in the film and the script is penned down by the writers Nidhish G, and Shaji Maarad.Kunchacko Boban took to his official Instagram handle to announce the first look poster for ‘Ila Veezha Poonchira’ and penned a note that read, “Shahi. The director for his maiden ‘Nayattu’.” Kunchacko Boban and Joju George played the lead roles in Shahi Kabir’s superhit emotional drama movie ‘Nayattu’.The film ‘Ila Veezha Poonchira’ officially started rolling on the last day with a Poojah ceremony. The expectations are high for ‘Ila Veezha Poonjira’ as the scriptwriter Shahi Kabir has a good track record of delivering good content for the audience.‘Ila Veezha Poonchira’ is bankrolled by Anwar Rasheed’s production banner and the film's cinematography will be handled by Manesh Madhavan, best known for his works in the suspense thriller movie ‘Joseph’. On the other hand, Shahi Kabir has teamed up with the actor Joju George for the films ‘Joseph’, and ‘Nayattu’, for which the actor received Kerala State Award for his performance in the latter movie. Meanwhile, Soubin Shahir, who will be headlining ‘Ila Veezha Poonjira’, was last seen in the Mmmootty starrer investigation thriller ‘CBI 5: The Brain’, and ‘Bheeshma Parvam’. The actor has a host of highly ambitious projects in the pipeline that includes the films ‘Joothan’, ‘Romancham’, ‘Karachi 81’, ‘Neelavelicham’, ‘Djinn’, and ‘Oru Police Kaarante Maranam’.
