If Kalyani Priyadarshan was a content creator, she would have given a tough competition to Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’, here’s why!
Popular filmmaker Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ always manages to make headlines, whether it's for the controversial content, or the flak it receives from many prominent names in the entertainment business or the audience. The seventh season of the celebrity chat show managed to bring some of the sensational stars from Indian cinema, including its latest guest, the current heartthrob - Vijay Deverakonda. But it seems like Karan Johar might have got a strong competitor if actress Kalyani Priyadarshan was into content creation!
Well, before you jump to any conclusions, let us explain what and why! Prominent filmmaker Priyadarshan’s daughter and actress Kalyani Priyadarshan was on a promotional spree lately for her upcoming release ‘Thallumaala’, wherein she is essaying the lead role alongside ‘Minnal Murali’ actor Tovino Thomas. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the role of a vlogger Beepathu, who is a social media influencer. During one of the promotional interviews, when Kalyani Priyadarshan was asked what she would name her video-sharing channel if she were a content creator, the ‘Thallumaala’ actress shared, “Koffee with Kalyani.” And when she was asked the reason for picking the particular title, she went on to add that it is an easy title, also very catchy, so why not? The gorgeous actress even picked some of the fields she would like to deliver content in, if at all it is going to happen! And guess what? No, not fashion or beauty, she is more gravitated toward pets and food!
Since being a content creator or an influencer is not Kalyani Priyadarshan’s forte, seems like Karan Johar is safe for now!
Meanwhile, ‘Thallumaala’ helmed by Khalid Rahman will hit the big screens worldwide on August 12.
