I played a character close to my heart: Dhwani

While she plays a liberated woman in her comeback film, actress Dhwani will be seen as a nun in Pithavinum, Puthranum Parishudhatmavinum
At a time when an actor is testing the waters in filmdom a second time, every film you sign up for counts. However, when actress Honeyrose aka Dhwani ��� who makes her debut in a modern avatar in director V K Prakash���s next ���was offered the role of a nun in director Deepesh���s Pithavinum, Puthranum, Parishudhatmavinum, she didn���t have to think twice about taking it up.
Though, the role of a nun is something many beginners wouldn���t want to do. ���The character I play shares some similarities with St Alphonsa. Coincidentally, I���ve been worshipping her since childhood. It felt like I was playing a character close to my heart,��� says Dhwani, adding, ���The film deals with the issues haunting the insides of nunneries and churches.���
Meanwhile, Dhwani���s character in her comeback flick is nothing close to that of the nun she plays in Pithavinum... . ���I play a bold and liberated woman in V K Prakash���s flick.��� So does she feel that she has finally found what she is looking for? ���When I entered the industry, I had no clue about how to choose films. I���ve always wanted to work with a good team and play interesting characters. I���m happy the way things are shaping up in my second innings.���
Dhwani, who debuted in M-Town with director Vinayan���s Boyfriend is now working on the Tamil flick, Mallukattu, opposite Varun.
