Actress Lakshmi Ramakrishnan made her debut in Mollywood before she went to be big star in Tamil film industry. The actress, who will next be seen in Vineeth Sreenivasan's Jacobinte Swargarajyam, says she always holds the Malayalam industry dear. 'Though Chakkara Muthu didn't do well, my character was appreciated and in a year and a half I did 18 movies. I was a great launchpad for me. I miss Lohitadas sir and his guidance. I didn't know him well him, I just met him and it clicked,' she says.
The actress though also wants to direct a film in Mollywood soon. 'I still remember after my first directorial Aarohanam, when director Kamal asked me why I didn't make it in Malayalam?' she says. 'I am huge fan of Malayalam films and would love do a movie here soon.'
