made a glowing endorsement for the film, ‘Argentina Fans Kattoorkadavu’ on social media. “I went with my family to see the film. Kalidas Jayaram was superb in the film shot in a rural setting. The film has combined romance, friendship and football. Everyone who loves football should see the film,” he said.

The youthful film, directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, has Kalidas and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles and centres around the craze for football and the Argentina team among fans in Kerala. The film is set in the time of the 2010 to 2018 Fifa World Cup tournaments.
