'I have not taken break from films'

<p> <em>News about actress Gauthami Nair not acting in films because of studies has been making rounds for a while.</em><br /> <br /> The actress recently took to social media rubbishing all rumours, as she posted, “ Off-late I have been hearing the news that everyone assumes that I have taken a break from doing movies because of my studies. This is from both people within and outside the movie industry.I would kindly like to say that, no I have not taken any break from the movie field. The only reason I was unable to do a lot of good movies that were offered to me in the past 2 years was because - All of them came to me the exact<span class="textexposedshow"> same time my university exams were taking place. So giving priority to my exams, at that point, I had to reject the movies.” <o:p></o:p></span></p> <p> She added, “But otherwise, when I was free or during my holidays, nothing came my way. So the misconception of a break from the field came up. Had a project that fit in perfectly with everything then I would have been happily doing it.. I do hope this clears everything being heard now. (Sic)” <o:p></o:p></p>
