I find a lot of similarity between Dileepettan and Golden Star Ganesh: Prayaga Martin

The doe-eyed girl of Mollywood, Prayaga Martin, who made her mark in Kollywood through Mysskin’s Pisaasu, is all excited about her Kannada debut. The actress who has completed the first schedule shoot of Geetha, directed by Vijay Nagendra, is now busy preparing for the final exams of her master’s degree in travel and tourism at her home in Kochi.

Taking a break from her studies, Prayaga who starred opposite Golden Star Ganesh in the film, says that she finds a lot of similarity between actor Dileep, her co-star in Ramaleela and her Kannada co-star. “He is very much like Dileepettan — very genuine, down to earth and supportive. A man with a lot of patience, he was very supportive in helping me get rid of my newbie inhibitions. He is a man of substance,” she says.

Prayaga plays a main character in Geetha and she feels, it is going to be her breakthrough movie. “Geetha is going to be really amazing. So far, I have never done films which explore my acting calibre much. I play the central character in the movie and it is really beautiful,” says Prayaga animatedly. She adds that the film’s team is really young and vibrant. “The director and the crew are very hardworking, and the set is filled with positive vibes. Everybody is vibrant and spirited. I really miss them when I am away as I consider them my extended family,” she says.
