“I’m a Bangalore girl and I feel at home in Sandalwood,” says the actress, whose last outing was the Tamil movie, Chennaiyil Oru Naal.
“I am excited about my role, which is almost similar to what Laksmi Rai did in the Malayalam version. In fact, in the Kannada version, the role has been extended and my character has a prominent screen presence throughout the movie. Apart from a few song sequences, we have almost done with the shoot,” says Aishwarya. The movie will see Kannada star Sharan playing the role portrayed by Dileep in the original. Directed by Charulatha fame Ponkumaran, Smt Jayalalitha will hit the screens in November.
