I consider myself a mainstream actor: Meera Vasudev

Meera Vasudev had almost given up hope of finding a role she could identify with when she was approached by director M Mohanan for '916'.
The Thanmatraactress plays wife to Mukesh in the film, which is about two couples and their relationships. ���916 gave me exactly what I wanted. In the film, one of the couple behaves as the perfect couple to the outside world, but is ridden with problems.The second couple, on the other hand, do not hide any issues they have with each other, but are actually united within the walls of their home.��� ���I play a manipulative and calculating wife here, a change from the long suffering, sacrificing women I have played earlier,��� she says.
Her dream, she says, is to act in a film like Kahaani. ���I have been getting offers from art house directors but I consider myself a mainstream actor, this is my bread and butter. I would rather do nothing than do everything and anything which comes my way,��� says Meera.
