I consider my disciples my own children

Disciples taking time out to convey birthday regards to their gurus is commonplace, but when gurus do it, it definitely shows the bond is special.
I V Shashi's son Ani, seems to be one of the favorite trainees of filmmaker Priyadarshan. As Ani celebrated his birthday recently, the filmmaker took time out to wish the youngster on his online page, mentioning that disciples are like children to him.Priyadarshan has mentored the sons of many directors like Sethumadhavan, Sreekumaran Thampi and Bharatan in the past.
