I am Mohanlal's Anglo Indian love interest: Ragini

We had reported earlier that Darjeeling based actress Ragini Nandwani will be playing the female lead opposite Mohanlal in Arun Vaidyanathan’s Peruchazhi. The actress, who was in Kochi recently, revealed that she will be playing an Anglo Indian in the film.
“The film is still in its initial stages and I’m not allowed to reveal the details. I play an Anglo Indian who resides in the US and that is how I meet Mohanlal.I play his love interest,” she says.
Ragini, who was noticed most for her character as a North Indian in Vijay-starrer Thalaivaa, seems to be debuting with superstars in every industry. “I just hope this becomes a habit! I’m meeting Mohanlal for the first time and it’s an honour to share screen space with him. For a newcomer like me it’s a dream come true. It was a pleasure to work with Vijay and I’m thrilled to work with Mohanlal now. You get to learn a lot from senior actors,” she says.
Since Ragini has worked in Tamil before, Malayalam is not going to be a problem for her, she says. The actress has a couple of projects in Malayalam and Telugu in the pipeline and is on talks for a Bollywood film as well. However, she says nothing has been finalised yet.
