I am being misquoted: Dr Biju

For the past few weeks, the online media have been buzzing with controversial quotes from director Dr Biju, wherein he accuses various actors in different ways. While one quoted the director as saying that some of the top actors in the industry refused his invite to act in Perariyathavar, another said that actor Srinivasan once refused to return his script after reading it.In yet another report, Kavya Madhavan is said to have rejected his film because she didn’t like the way he looked.
Dr Biju countered this, saying that whoever wrote the reports were misquoting him. “I gave a long and detailed interview to a Malayalam publication recently, from where they have picked up bits and pieces. If you read the full interview and the circumstances leading to these statements, you will get the full picture,” he says.
Meanwhile, Perariyathavar, the film which one a National Award for its actor, will be screened in Kerala only after its international premiere, which will be in August-September, the director informed us.
