Prithviraj's astounding portrayal of the titular role in Ennu Ninte Moideen is the talk of the town. But even before the movie's script materialised, the actor was confident that the film will strike a chord with the Malayali audience. "I said yes to
Ennu Ninte Moideenas soon as I saw the documentary," says the actor, referring to
Jalam Kondu Muruvettaval on which the film is based.
"The director RS Vimal showed me the documentary before he told me the script. But even before I heard the script, in my mind I decided I was going to do this."
The actor also said he was confident that he wouldn't have any regrets doing the film. "I was pretty confident even if the script was bad, I am going to be able to sit down and get a very good cinematic narrative out of this documentary. Turns out the script was very good," he says.
