2014 saw Honey Rose in a number of much anticipated films, but none of them created ripples at the box office. The actress, currently, has a couple of projects lined up, which will see her playing roles as different as chalk and cheese and are quite unlike the bold characters she has played so far.
Honey says, “I don’t want to take up bold roles all the time.
There are other kinds of roles which I am keen to do. I was waiting for some good roles, and as luck would have it, all the projects I have signed up will see me in entirely different roles.”
In My God opposite Suresh Gopi, Honey plays Arathi, a doctor-cum-social worker. “It is a positive and intense role. In Sir CP, I am paired opposite Jayaram. He runs a college tutorial and I play a public relations officer. It is going to be an out-and-out entertainer.” The actress has also signed Roopesh Peethambaran’s next project You too Brutus. The multi-starrer project will see her cast opposite Asif Ali. Talking about her role in the film, she says, “It is a fun-film and my character is that of a bubbly girl.” The movie is expected to go on floors in January in Thrissur.
Meanwhile, Honey is finding time for her studies as well and has enrolled for an undergraduate course in Communicative English. Her University exams are nearing but it remains doubtful whether the actress will be able to write her exams as she will be busy with her films at that time.
