‘Holy Wound’ trailer: Two suppressed women break social taboos as they enter into a romantic relationship

With the coming of the newbie directors and indeed with the help of OTT platforms, several Malayalam film directors, through their films, have indeed broken the orthodox barricade that was erected in society over the years. The latest entry into the category is Asok R Nath’s film ‘Holy Wound’. The film is all set to stream via an OTT platform from August 12 onwards.

The makers of ‘Holy Wound’ recently unveiled the trailer for the film along with the streaming date of the movie.

The film is touted as a silent movie that explores the lives of two young women who enter into a very romantic relationship blinded by the fact that they are separated by the orthodox barricade as both of them are from different social backgrounds.

Directed by Asok R Nath, ‘Holy Wound’ is produced under the production banner of Sandeep R. The story of the film is written by Paul Wiclif and the editing by Vipin Mannoor. Unni Madavoor cranked the lens for ‘Holy Wound’ and the background music is done by Ronnie Raphael.
‘Holy Wound’ features the actors Janaki Sudheer, Amrutha Vinod, and Shabu Praudeen in the lead roles. Actress Janaki Sudheer has played pivotal roles in several Malayalam movies such as ‘Chunks’, and ‘Oru Yamandan Premakadha’.
