The movie is touted to be a psychological mystery. Earlier, the film’s writer Suvin Somasekharan had revealed about Prithviraj’s character in the film, “Prithviraj plays Dr Derrick who tries to unearth the mystery in the story. As the title suggests, the thriller is related to a star - the Beetlejuice in the Orion constellation. The film could be interpreted as a ‘spoof’ on earlier thrillers.”

The story also incorporates Indian myths, and looks at how myths and beliefs affect people’s lives, it was disclosed.


The film has ‘burst of myths’ as its slogan and it has Gayathri Ashok of Ladoo fame in an important role.


Tharun Bhaskaran is the film’s DoP. Music is by M Jayachandran and Ranjin Raj to Harinarayanan’s lyrics.
