.’ It is to be directed by ‘Happy Wedding,’ ‘Oru Adaar Love,’ ‘Chunks’ and ‘Dhamaka’ maker director Omar Lulu, and Babu Antony’s look from the movie was recently released.

His salt and pepper get up for the movie has been widely shared on the social media space, with many complimenting the actor for how great he looks in this get up. The movie, which is made in the banner of Virtual Films by Ratheesh Aanedathu, also has actors Babu Raj, Riyaz Khan, Abu Salim, Bineesh Bastin, a few Kannada actors and also certain artistes from Hollywood, according to the team.

The movie’s tagline is ‘Naayika Illa, Paattu Illa, Idi maathram,’ in Malayalam, which translates to ‘No heroine, no songs, only action.’ ‘Power Star’ has script by writer Dennis Joseph. Recently, Omar Lulu had revealed that the movie, which would be shot to present stunts in a realistic fashion, would be a big budget action film which wouldn’t let go of the ‘mass feel.’

The film is expected to be shot in locations across Kochi, Kasaragod and Mangalore, and it will be made both in the languages of Malayalam and Kannada at the same time. As of now, its pre-production works are going on, and the team expects to start shooting by the month of October.

Last year, Babu Antony had also made his Hollywood debut through the film ‘Bullets, Blades and Blood.’
