’ at a theatre in Thiruvananthapuram, posted on social media that she was delighted to see the kids there. A special screening had been arranged for children from the government home, which comes under the

Women and Child Development Department

. Accompanying the minister at the screening were actor Parvathy, and the film’s producers Shenuga, Shegna and Sherga.

The screening was organised as part of the department’s campaign named ‘fearlessly ahead’, meant as an encouragement for the kids, said Shailaja, who added that she had seen the film earlier and felt great pride to see the portrayal of an acid attack survivor, who goes ahead to make her dream a reality. The film was directed by Manu Ashokan and has Asif Ali and Tovino in lead roles.
