Govind Padmasoorya is wowed by Kumbh facilities
TV star and actor Govind Padmasoorya, who has been on a travelling-foodie mode, sharing pictures from around the country of some fun food and places. His current stop is at the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, which recently set a record with a parade of a fleet of 500 buses.
Govind points out in a social media post that in spite of record crowds, the facilities are impeccable. “Spread over 45 km with a turnout of over 130 million people from over 150 countries, Kumbh Mela is the highest pilgrimage gathering in the world! Considering this aspect, I am highly surprised and thoroughly impressed with the facilities, cleanliness and the entire organization of the event! Seeing the rivers clean is so heartwarming, being at the sangam is exhilarating!” he notes.
