Gokul Suresh on Mammootty’s ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’: It will be a ‘Pink Panther’ style movie

Expectations are quite high as the legendary actor Mammootty is teaming up with Gautham Vasudev Menon for the first time in the comedy investigation film ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse.’ Recently the actor Gokul Suresh, who plays one of the lead characters in the film, said in a media interaction that Mammootty’s starrer will be a ‘Pink Panther’ style investigative film.

Mammootty and Gokul Suresh’s characters were featured in the recently released teaser for ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse,’ and speaking about the same with Asianet News, Gokul said that the movie has presented him an unforgettable experience and also shared that he didn’t expect his character to get much screen time in the movie.

“I never thought that my character would get much importance in the teaser, and I share my heartfelt gratitude for everyone,” said Gokul Suresh. He further said, “It was an unforgettable experience. I was able to watch the master (Mammootty) performing up close, and it was a different kind of experience for me.”



Further sharing his experience working with Mammootty, the ‘King of Kotha’ actor said that he felt like being in a university for over 10 to 25 days. “It’s like learning everything from him, without him teaching me. I could watch him perform right in front of me and learn from it. I feel overwhelmed to be part of ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse.’.

Gokul also said that although his character was supposed to be until the first half, it was extended further.



The teaser, which was released on the last day, promises a fun investigative drama with a Sherlock-inspired character named Dominic, played by Mammootty. Speaking about the theme of the GVM’s directorial, Gokul said, “It will be a Pink Panther’-style film.”


Meanwhile, ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’ will mark the Malayalam directorial debut of Gautham Vasudev Menon.
